A Fellow Certificate of Professional Competency is available to those candidates who are employed in a professional capacity primarily engaged in the examination of physical evidence, interpretation of data, and/or technical consulting for litigation purposes. Fellow candidates must pass specialty examinations that test specific knowledge of the designated specialties or the Comprehensive Criminalistics Examination and successfully participate in an approved proficiency testing program in the relevant disciplines.
The ABC offers Fellow certification in several specialty areas. Click the links below for the specialty area study guides. The various certification examinations in the areas indicated measure the applicant’s mastery of the relevant KSA's.
Fellow status can be achieved in more than one specialty.
Fellow status REQUIRES annual proficiency testing in the specialty area.
