Fellow - Trace Evidence

Fibers which are shed by clothing, hair, paint from tools or vehicles, glass from broken windows or headlamps, and a variety of other types of materials may be analyzed by trace evidence specialists using a variety of techniques including microscopy, spectroscopy, chromatography, and mass spectrometry. Trace evidence specialists are certified as Fellows in two different specialty areas: Hair/Fibers or Paint/Polymers.
