CHANGES IN THE RECERTIFICATION DOCUMENT REVIEW PROCESS BEGINNING IN 2022:
The ABC utilizes a committee of volunteers to review recertification paperwork and confirm points claimed. Historically we have reviewed all aspects of a recertification packet, regardless of how many points a certificant has already attained. In an effort to improve the efficiency of our review process, we will now only review documentation and confirm enough points to ensure that a certificant meets recertification requirements. If you have met your recertification requirement, the points reflected on your points chart on the Members Side will reflect what was reviewed and may not reflect the points you claimed. You will not receive an additional notification of this change of points.

- Reporting Forms: Fill out Professional Development Report (09-0601F) and the Recertification Declaration Form (09-0612F) using the link below. This form can accommodate up to two specialties.
- If you are reporting points for more than two specialties, you will need to create a second submission. Only include the points for the additional specialties on the second submission. If you have questions or concerns regarding this process, please contact the Registrar for more guidance (abcregistrar@criminalistics.com).
- Supporting Documents: You must submit supporting documents for activities claimed on the Professional Development Report. If you are claiming points for an activity, you will be required to attach supporting documentation with that activity. Ensure that you have all of your supporting documentation ready and in a digital format with a file name that easily identifies the document.
- The form will allow you to save your work and return.
